Do you think the bankruptcy court will follow the letter of the law in regards to Chrysler?
Ana Stasia Nika asked:
If they don't – and follow through with giving the UAW a much bigger share then they are entitled to – what will this say for the future of business and private contracts in our country?
Interesting – I wonder where all the usual O'bots are – wonder why they are not jumping in to defend this, crickets.

Create a video blog…instantly.
Obama does his fascist takeovers irregardless of the constitution. He is moving at breakneck speed to take over banks and major corporations and destroy American business and give away American sovereignty and dismantle our security.
He forces banks, corporations, to take bailout money, then goes in and does a hostile takeover.
What he's doing with GM is screwing over investors who lent money in good faith, who will now get pennies on the dollar and he will funnel that money to UAW thus securing for himself even MORE power as the fascist that he is.

No . I think there's plenty of wiggle room in almost all laws……..just depends how expensive your lawyers are.

No. Obama will have his greasy mitts all over these hearings manipulating the outcome to what he wants.

It would be a grave and disturbing precedence if the US government tried to ******* the clear and established rules of bankruptcy law by giving the UAW primacy over the creditors of secured loans, based on political considerations.
Obama has already shown a disturbing lack of support for the law by chastising the creditors of secured loans as somehow being evil or acting selfishly.
Are we to be a nation of laws, or a lawless nation?

Over the weekend the White House used strong arm tactics to force secured credtors in the Chrysler bankruptcy to stand behind non secured lenders and this should be investigated to the fullest and should be brought to light…where the hell does Obama get off usurping the legal system when it comes to bankruptcy. Lets hope the legal system doesn't buckle to the demands of the Obama administration or this country will be no better than other countries that the government controls the courts.
