I have a small business that is losing tons of money for the last 4 years, can I file bankruptcy?
Mark F asked:
I ask because I have a job that I have maintained which probably puts me over the means test but I have to find a way to get out of this business and hoping someone has some advise.

P.S. Some additional information, it is a sole proprietership and I have accumulated an awful lot of debt and it is a franchise in which I am not sure if the are going to let me just close it.

maybe.. but also close the business!
If it is a corporation, the corporation would have to file for Bankruptcy.
if it is losing money .. close it and stop the bleeding first. Then when you can breath again review your options.
