Is there a way I could find out on line if my landlord has filed for bankruptcy?

I think your best bet is to go to the Courthouse and find that information in the County Clerk's Office. That sort of information is a matter of public record.

You may be able to go to the website of the County courthouse where he/she may have filed. That type a record is open to the public. Also, sometimes they are listed in the newspaper.
