What do you think of the $162 billion war funding?
My Virtu asked:
I think the money that will be used for addition GI Bill benefits, extented unemployment for returning troops, and for relief efforts for the midwest flooding are a good go. But, as far as more money to keep pumping into Iraq to help "build up" their country and their infastructure is a big, big NO!!! American tax payers have had the burden of paying to build up a country who has not given anything back and refuse to help them selves. This is just another reason why America is in economic trouble…we care taking care of another country! Iraq produces 200 million barrels of oil a day. A barrel of oil is selling for $134. You do the math on how much money that country makes every day. Does America get anything back, besides a bigger national debt. NO!!! Here is a suggestion to D.C. If you want to run up the national debt and put a burden on American tax payers, how about doing it for "OUR" country. Would you spend money on someone elses business and neglect your own business!

I agree with you.
I'm glad someone else sees this this way
besides me.
I think it'll ruin us. Rather, I think it already has.
Don't forget. Iraq didn't ask for that war. We shouldn't be there. I think that the GI bill is good because it helps the troops. Bush took us there for oil. A lot of our tax dollars are going to fund Bush's buddies( Black water, Haliburton, etc ). He cut the taxes of the rich while middle class and poor peoples taxes remain the same. It's a huge transfer of wealth from the poor and middle class to the rich. If you want it to change then tell every one you know to vote for the Democratic candidates.
Listening to the cash register keep on ringing.

What do you think?
Most of those money aren't spent anywhere else. They are all being cornered by the American contractors.
Besides, the U.S. occupation troops had already demanded the Iraqi puppet government to pay for the gas cost of the occupation troops.
"We attacked you, we bombed you, we are still bombing you every day, and we occupy your country. Now, pay for our gas!"
I wonder what will be the next. Make them pay for the bombs drop on them too?
I agree that if the Iraqi's don't ruck up very soon as in the next coupled of months and start taking an interest in their own country we should leave and let the mideast have it. Do you think they have also become a welfare case like some groups in the US? They seem extremely corrupt and apathetic about their living quarters. I agree about the amount of tax money being spent is out of line now. I think as does most people that they would have been motivated for a new gov't since Sadaam and his 2 spawn are gone.
