Obama's Global Poverty Act of 2007, passed out of committee just a few days ago
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senators Barack Obama (D-IL), Chuck Hagel (R-NE), and Maria Cantwell (D-WA) and Congressman Adam Smith (D-WA) today hailed the Senate Foreign Relations Committee's passage of the Global Poverty Act (S.2433), which requires the President to develop and implement a comprehensive policy to cut extreme global poverty in half by 2015 through aid, trade, debt relief, and coordination with the international community, businesses and NGOs. This legislation was introduced in December. Smith and Congressman Spencer Bachus (R-AL) sponsored the House version of the bill (H.R. 1302), which passed the House last September.
I only wrote a few of the ones that have actually passed

Hey… I'm an Obama supporter but you need to research a bit more. That's an exaggerated list, to be honest.

Go to his Senate site and take a look. Seriously.

And three of them actually passed. Co-sponsoring a bill doesn't mean anything. It's when you see a bill and say, "hey, put my name on there." Assuming the senate was in session, he could have theoretically co-sponsored 20 bills in the amount of time it took me to type this.

Bill Clinton added 10,000 pages to the federal register during his last month in office. That doesn't mean he was effective in that effort. How long are most bills? A paragraph?

Did you know Obama has Written 890 Bills which 65% of them where voted down even by his own Party… yea where's thous numbers..

Co-sponsored another 1096 since he started serving in the senate? Yea so did the 80% of the other Co-sponsored of those bills? So what are you getting at???
THAT HE KNOW HOW TO LOOSE AND AT THE SAME TIME CAN SIGN HIS NAME TO PIECES OF PAPER SOMEONE ELSE HAS WRITTEN AND WAS TOLD TO SIGN????

At least I can really read and research for my self, no just from the DNC website or the offerings of the media…

What About you CAN YOU?????

I have also looked at his record. One point you failed to clarify is how many of these he joined after it was known that others looked favorably on the content. Also, how many were championed by others and directed his way during the closing moments in the entire process. Quite a difference between leading and joining.
Also, you mentioned the 2007 Ethics bill. You should have left this supporting (?) item off your list. All one has to do is research his background and it is easy to find numerous examples (many have been on this web site) of corrupt individuals supporting Obama. Sure he wasn't part of the issues that resulted in felony convictions for many others, but he chose to accept their support. Ethical??

First off, I'd like TDowns for Mr. Anti-Dem….or rather Mr. ******!

I'm an undecided Independent, who has no time for rants or chants.

Here's what I've got:

Last count: I've written 1086 checks off my present account.
3 bounced………..
Where will I find the money to pay them off????

That's the problem I see at both ends of the political spectrum right now!

Show me the source of the money….there's none left in my pocketbook!
